Worrying times indeed for Blazey. Been there many times to watch games when they were a real force in Cornish football. Really do hope they can turn things around and lay some foundations to build on, if not for this season then the next.

‘Nike partnerships’ are an excuse for a club to big itself up by identifying with a big brand. Like you said, they’re nothing more than some discounted kit and a coaching course. Makes you wonder who paid for all of the Nike branding at Mousehole’s ground...

From what I saw, Bryn promised much and made snide remarks about other teams on social media. I don't know the fellow but I can not say he came across too well from a distance. I would find quotes but he seems to have deleted his twitter account and I don't have Facebook. Good luck to Pz for the rest of the season. Brilliant club.

Not the first time this has happened and it won't be the last. The way the second team at Bodmin get treated is pretty appalling and it's been going on for years but so long as the first team is flooded with players from Plymouth, the second team with traditionally more local lads will get little to no support.

I think, it's that they signed a handful of Mousehole players under the noses of the league and decimating their squad may have something to do with it. Whilst it was technically above board, you'd have to be very naive to believe nothing underhand was going on. I wonder at what cost those signings have come at as I very much doubt their budget has remained the same over the course of the season.

RE naming rights. They only renamed their ground in the past couple of years after a former player who passed away so I very much doubt that will happen. I have no affiliation with the club by the way.

I'm surprised he stayed at Bodmin as long as he has. He was at Bude for quite a while before he left and they sorely missed him. They will need all the help they can get with others around them making some big signings and looking to improve their fortunes.
