Seeing all the comments from this page for the game between liskaerd v wendron i will comment being a neutral. I paid my entrance fee and it was worth every penny. I thinking aiming all you comments at the referee is totally unfair. In my view it was a penalty kick as i think the liskaerd player bundled him over and i was stood by the canteen. Ifyou dont think.it was well why give the chance to award the pen.to the refetee. Liskaerd should of been out of sight the amount of chances they had. The number 10 i believe dj had 4 one on ones and missed them. Also ping pong 3 times and hit the cross bar 3 times and this was all the referees fault as liskaerd couldnt finished and thd had ringers in too!!! I see they dont blame him they blame the referee as an escape goat. Iam with the referee on the sending off as max gilbert was told at least 5 times to shutup and walk away as he was saying all the swear words in the dictonary to mr shaun edge. So he was was warned but could not shut up and i even herd it from the stand. What is the referee ment to do. Aldo im lead to beleive that after in thd changing rooms the two teams had a to to as liskaerd couldnt lose in the right way. I just think liskaers using the referee as an escape goat and if they finished there chances would of won easily. It was well worth the entrance fee but i do think with the ringers and eady chances liskaerd had its 3 points gone.

Why Bude? Because it is the responsibility of the home club to look after the referee,fans and the event (match). I know it maybe not there players but im pretty sure the home club is responsible for everything at the game even if its the away fans and players causing trouble and there responsibility to gid rid if these people or things from the game for safety reasons. With the away team in this instant lanreath they have to be identified by the referee,club or even cctv to have santations against them. So if you are the home team make sure you have everything in place from when the referee arrives, in the club house and when the referee leaves the ground. So as home club i would have one person desinated to look after the match officails.

I was at wendron today and speaking to the referee after in the club house. The referee said the two red cards were for calling him " a f@@@@ joke" and a w@@@er very loudly. So stupidy on the players behalf after recieve serval warnings. I belevie he helped liskaerd out on many occasions even stopping the game several times to tell them about their constant moaning and not even taking and action onthe liskaerd gk for the penalty which could of be a red card. As for the penalities i thinking the first one was because the keeper took the wendron player out and the 2nd was for pulling and tugging the wendrons strikers shirt from a corner after loads of shouts from the ref to stop the pulling. Overall i think it was a good game and wendron could of had double figures and liskaerd had a few good chances which they should of put away. Even lee mann should of scored and played well!!!

I have just watched the game and the referee shaun edge issued 3 yellow cards. Number 10 mousehole late challenge looked like studs down back of leg Number 4 porthleven for a late tackle he even sat on him stopping him from proggressing Number 8 mousehole for the reckless challenge in the corner flag before he got subbed. Also the commenter said that the referee used common sense for the weather conditions and had a good game. Also the referee was on the oringinal fixture and was kept on the game and he also speaking to him afterwards capped his fee and he even lost money to referee the game and saved the club money. So SCFC what game where you watching as the video of the game shows this and commenter kept saying the referee and officals had a good game.

I was at the game and I have to say against my wishes that Mr Edge had a great game and had no choice with the cards and correct in all 3 penalties. In 15 mins it was one all an 1 v 1 score and a mass brawl. With matt bye tried to get falmouth player send of but Mr Edge booked him for simulation I pursume because he tried to get him sent off for a headutt but all it was a chest 2 chest and the falmouh player for the tackle. Maty Bye was also sent in the sin bin as well and very lucky yo stay on this pitch. Also the two sending offs where warrent for falmouth and the player for helston was on a yellow for a very late tackle and then then he pulls the shirt of a player who was going to shot resloving in a pen which could of been a straight red by Mr Edge gave him a 2nd yellow to help him out. Then the gk for helson kick the ball over the hill for his first caution and then after the final whistle the GK kicks the ball out of the groud down bickland hill. What a silly boy on a yellow and the GK does that. I also.herd that the F Troop are getting report for singing that the helston players had a touch of a rapist And also singing a gary glitter song to helstons manager saying you want to be in my gang and also helston managers a w @@@@!!! I just think this is sour grapes. From a neutral point of veiw lots of cards but they were all justified. I travelled from London to see this and it was very entertaining and credit must be due the officials were great and deserve praise. Doing my research tha Mr Edge the ref has done the final this year and cant do it again. But my view thinks that he should be able to do it again as he dont take no crap and had a good game today. This is the 4th time I have been down to cornwall and Mr Edge been referee 3 times and he gets slated for doing his job but I watched him today was a correct. Watched the final was good and then watched him at sticker v helston there was no cards he was good. There may have been 10 cards but were all given correcty in my view and Iam just a fan. I wonder why there is a shortage of referees. What an atmosphere from F Troop for a non league game.

People moan about referees all the time so putting money back into the local game is a good thing if he referees in that league or not. What about allen johns who started this post the referee he sponsors the east cornwall league and he referees in the same league. He is putting money back into the local game but no body moans about that. So lets give them credit. Also all referees decisions are going to be questioned. There wouldnt be anything to talk about else. So instead of putting people down give them credit where is due.

I agree with Dave Deacon. Everyone moans about referees and when they try and give something back to the game of local football they still get moaned at!!!! I believe the referee in question is out injuired at the moment so he just wants to help and give something back to the game. Its not like hes betting on the game or trying to cheat or being un fair or refereeing the game. So millbrook got money worries and other clubs help them out with fun raising so its no different by sponsoring a game. You dont gain from it.

I was a spector at this game and i thought boh sides disipline was shocking. As for Mr Edge I thought the 4 red cards were right. 1. Ivybrigde number 3 a 2 footed challenge just below the knees. I know he took long but he didnt see it thr lino did they were making sure they got the right guy. 2. Ivybridge number 10 had serveral warninings for dissent and then a yellow. Seccond yellow was for when a corner came over he shoved the saltash number 3 to the ground and a penalry awarded. 3. Saltash number 3 best decribed as a kung foo kick on the ivybrige player trying to head the ball from a goal kick. 4. Saltash number 10 shouted over to the assistant as he was flagged offside and was warned by the referee to stop he carried on. Seccond yellow saltash scored there fourth and he stuck his fingers up to the keeper and crowd. Now please tell me if those are not red cards. The 4 yellows i believe were all for back chat and dissent afelter captains were warned. So i thaugh as a nutuaral spectator mr edge had it spot on Oh i forgot that dane bunmy got told to leave the dug out for telling the lino to **** off. Please can you.on her tell me how mr edge got thesee wrong. Its the players and staff need to look at theirselfs as the officials done the right things. There needs to be more officials like these guys who do not take the abuse and dish out the correct punishements. Well done to the officials!!!!!!

Dave it was rules sent out by the fa. To answer your question who carers well most referees will not but it could invailidates the teams insurance and could lead to bans and fines. I know its very petty. Most referees allow it and also allow if a player gets in a sticky stituation or is heated ask the player to leave the field and come back on. However what effect would this have during the season. All referees use common sense and try to help clubs out where possible.
