Xembla
Not sure exactly what happened, but Ricey went off injured and there was no 'keeper on the bench (I don't know the story with Stevo). So somebody else had to take the shirt, and that was Yetton. Which boggles the mind, frankly. Although presumably with the two-goal lead and the tempo of the match under control, SMcC felt that he could best sacrifice a striker rather than anyone else. I don't think Yetton had a save to make. Crowd of 490 with good away support. I bet the train back was a riot!
Guest Man on the Post
Rice dislocated a finger and for some reason Truro did not have a goalkeeper on the subs bench. Apparently Yetton volunteered straight away to take over. I've seen Yetton go between the sticks in pre-match warm ups and was impressed! A couple of seasons ago Jake Ash had to take over in goal and saved a penalty! :clapper:
Lee_
Maybe not a save as such to make, but Yettons handling was impeccable :)

Guest Man on the Post
Truro's current haul of 92pts would have won the league in 5 of the previous 6 seasons. If they win their last two games Truro will finish 4 points behind Bashley's haul of 102 points in 2006/2007. Just goes to show that those on this forum who heavily criticised them last autumn, following a few draws and defeats, were a bit premature. I can't find league tables before 2002/2003, perhaps 'Statto' Mike Odgers could help?

Hi-MotP There is a comprehensive historical record of the Southern League if you punch in 'Southern League tables' on 'Google' eg: 2001-02 SL Western Div. Haleowen Town P40-90Pts 2000-01 Hinkley United P42-98Pts 1999-00Stafford Rangers P42-93Pts. enjoy Mike

MOUNTAINEER
I Googled - Non League Tables First post on the google menu was headed Non League Tables website - www.nonleaguetables.co.uk/lthmtl/ltindex.hmtl This has a large collection although not complete, you can find out about individual teams, I entered Truro City and all the league tables referring to Truro City were listed, accessable by clicking on the year. It goes back to 1945 It was interesting one year Falmouth won the league beating Truro by 2 points, the following year Truro won the league by 2 points from Falmouth Town. I noted another occassion where Torpoint Athletic won the League by one point from Falmouth Town who suffered because of a 2 point deduction. I got bogged down with interest when noticing the current names of Football League clubs who in the past played in the League Truro City will be playing next season, even the great TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS won the Southern League (I already knew that). My interest was so great, I do not yet know tonights Champions League scores. MOUNTAINEERSPUR.
