Yellow cards Buckland 3 (1 dissent, 2 for fouls)

Yellow cards Launceston 3 (all dissent)

Entertainment value 5/10

Buckland hospitality 9/10

Programme 9/10

Both defences well drilled, my man of the man, Jamie Ahearn Launceston, bossed the back and won every header, a solid performance.

penzance 3 st austell 4

cracking game at penzance with town deservedly running out 4-3 winners.goalscorers for pz were westgarth 2 and holland, not sure on scorers for town but think body, nancarrow and phillips had 1 each?

town 1-0,1-1,2-1,2-2,2-3,3-3,4-3.

but for a 2 minute spell in 2nd half when an inspired holland equalised and then set up westgarth to put pz ahead st austell always looked the better team throughout and looked a really good side with good mix of youth and expierience and a terrific team spirit.

not too many plusses for pz,miller looked their best player but had to go off after 30 mins, and need to perhaps look at st austell,s spirit as too many players were happy to moan at each other than try and improve their own performance.

SWPL(P) Falmouth Town 1 Liskeard Athletic 1 h/t 0-0 (attendance 105)

Didn't get to Bickland today but have been informed Dan Stidwell opened for Town from a corner but was soon equalised when former favourite Adam Trudgian headed home from another corner.

It was a repeat result of the game at Lux Park where these two former big name clubs languish in the bottom 4 of the SWPL.

This was the first point for manager Alan Carey as Falmouth halted an eight match losing sequence.

It also ended a run of 7 consecutive LEAGUE defeats which equalled the historical all time club record of 7 defeats in April/May 2003.

On a positive note ,today saw the return of the former County Youth central defender Hugh Howlett who has joined from Penzance.

In my opinion Hugh was harshly treated when he first appeared for Town two seasons ago and he is one Falmouth must build a foundation on for next season.

He became the 40th.First team player used this season.

scorers for penryn Hal davis and pete davey

yep i agree mate 4 red cards 3 for wendron

Red Card Wendron 3 Penryn 1

But Penryn won the yellow card count 7 to 6

A very expensive day, bookings wise. I think each Club will be fined £150.00 on top of the £8 per player. CCFA funds will like that

Red Card Wendron 3 Penryn 1

But Penryn won the yellow card count 7 to 6

For the record:

Penryn had 6 cautions, 1 of which was a players second, hence the red card.

Wendron also had 6 cautions, 1 of which was a players second, subsequently a red. Also 1 red card during the match, & 1 red card after the final whistle.

Card count therefore won by Wendron 9 to 7
