Saw referee Peter Grenfell in the middle last Wednesday night - Western League Premier Dawlish Town 4 Chard Town 0 Penzance to Dawlish 120+ miles Its a shame Paul W and Bryn wern't available for the depleted Town team at Street FC-two experienced players could still do a job for a struggling first team. cornishteddyboy
The league's highest ever score was on Saturday 17th April 1962 when Porthleven beat St Dennis 15-0. The biggest aggregate score was Falmouth Town Reserves 10-6 Nanpean Rovers Reserves in 1967-67 The highest ever score draw was played on 26th October 1974 between Helston Athletic and RAF St Mawgan.
