  1. So Porthleven were going to call the game off regardless?
  2. So a ref was going for his leisurely afternoon stroll and deemed it unplayable?
  3. Ludgvan AFC were scheduled to play Porthleven AFC tonight, this has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch. This is the current state of the playing surface: With so many games called off and rescheduled surely this isn't acceptable? The surface is bone dry and 100% playable. It makes a mockery of the league and the teams that do actually play games when they can call them off.
  4. I'm not quite sure how Culdrose finished the game with 11 players on the pitch!
  5. you also do your match reports by email? as well as your signature? as you were
  6. I think you mean CCFA instead of Social Media. They're so backwards with the way that they do things. I heard that they still send out carrier pigeons rather than emails, maybe they should try sorting out the way some Senior clubs are run then they wouldn't receive derogatory comments....
  7. No he didn't, he walked straight past him so that he could get into the bar without saying anything.....
  8. St.Ives 2 - 0 Goonhavern (HT 1-0) Goals from Jowan May and Curtis Richards, about 15 attending
  9. Excellent season for the boys, our 2nd season of football as a team and to do the league and cup double is an impressive feat for any team. We have played some impressive teams this season, the table shows this and anyone could have won it. Look forward to playing against some of you next season!
  10. Carbis Bay We are at cross purposes as i'm posting about West Cornwall and St.Ives Town. You are right in that Carbis Bay had only Trispen and Mount Ambrose to play though. my bad, been a long day!
  11. this match has already been played previously in the season? Trispen 1 - 2 Carbis Bay was the result from the boys today? Not as far as i know Tristan. The original game was at St.Ives and West Cornwall confirmed this game earlier in the week. Just spoken to the boys and we only have 2 games left this season, Trispen and Mount Ambrose. we played west cornwall at home 2-2 and played them away, lost 2-1 as I missed a pen and then again in the cup semi where we won 1-0. Can't be playing them a 4th time surely?
  12. this match has already been played previously in the season? Trispen 1 - 2 Carbis Bay was the result from the boys today?
  13. When Olly had the ball played to him he wasn't offside, I was stood 5 yards away and none of us had a shadow of a doubt that he was off!
  14. The player was late and didn't pull out, on another day/different ref you have seen reds given but as it was so early on in the game the ref only gave a yellow. After Illogan's first goal we thought they would run away with it, but Torpoint equalized almost immediately and ran out deserved winners, even had a few chances to make it an even bigger scoreline but failed to make them count!
  15. A real shame that, if it's true. I guess it's a combination of having the match so far down west and having a very poorly supported team (Bodmin) involved. there were a lot of neutrals there too! Bodmin deserved winners after their 2nd half display but St.Austell were unlucky not to get (at least) a pen!
  16. Not sure if they have to win their games with another no show yesterday! they have trispen again last game of the season, lets hope they can raise a side next time, i'm sure carbis bay would rather win the league playing a game! as far as praze are concerned they would be worthy champions as by far the stongest team we have played this season, as our head to heads show! Have also heard from one of there players they may not continue next season, would be a shame if that correct? and a shame for the other teams as they have fulfilled their fixtures! GD is a big thing aswell, as the likes of the teams at the top beat trispen 9-0, then carbis get a 3-0 default win, we'll have to see what happens!
