Falmouth Hotel done really well. Thanks to all the Managers/Lineos/commitee etc.. for thier hard work all season. Best of luck to all players moving on to play higher standards, and to those going Perranporth And to Shaun Tozer going to Back to Falmouth, great job you did in your short spell! It was annouched that Winno will carry on next season With Mark Etherington & Martyn Richards as assistant Managers with Stuart Massey as Coach. Like to wish them luck and welcome them to the club. Heard a couple of your players who joined half way through the season are off to Perranporth already. Probably couldn't take a bollocking from you, (which you would have undoubtedly given at some point last year). I would have just told you where to go!!!!!!! Guest Cornish Football Fan Posted June 10, 2008 Report Share Posted June 10, 2008 From my sources, Justin Miles, Kayne Trevaskis and Bryan Hawke had offers from Perranporth but cant understand why they would want to leave, also heard a couple other players from Helston had a few offers but from higher league clubs so good luck to them if they choose to leave, playing a higher standard and trying to better them self, good on them. Perranporth no doubt will have a good team but there players stepping down a league so dont understand the logic in that, think there to good for this league and persoanlly i think they will lose quite a few games with the wrong attitude. Jonah Posted June 16, 2008 Report Share Posted June 16, 2008 Isn't it brilliant all this cloak and dagger stuff about who may or may not being going to certain clubs. Problem is until players actually sign on the dotted they could be telling 4 or 5 different managers that they will be coming to their club next season. Too many players like the chase and attention these days. I have been at clubs in the past where players have been to pre-season training and it then turns out that they have already signed elsewhere. Ended up going to Holmans pre season and started the season for them. Things didn't work out there as I still wanted to play Combo football, but wasn't needed at Holmans, fair enough, I had no problem with that.
