Ian Pethick
Given the state of pitch after last Saturday's match, no surprise. Given the weather forecast for the Plymouth area this week, the Bolitho Park groundstaff will have a hell of a job getting Parkway v Evesham on this coming Saturday. All you can do is keep off until you can fork repair the big stuff, possibly a light chain harrowing followed by the lightest roller needed to level it back down. No where near ready for equipment on it yet, and only then when the tractor does not leave track, until then keep everybody off!. Should also add, if you don't have a chain harrow a good stiff brush on the back of the tractor will also do a fair job at levelling the divots. Although it has to be fairly dry to get the best out of the brush.
sportsman10
Can’t see any games on parkways pitch for a while definitely won’t be on Saturday and it will be a real worry about the amount of games left to cram in during march /April . Possible 3 - A week bet the grounds man having sleepless nights
