This game only survived the weather due to being moved to the 3G pitch at Launceston. Glad the game was on but some changing rooms would have been perfect on today of all days!

Boscastle started the better and raced into a 2 goal lead in the first 25 minutes. 2 penalties scored by Williams after a push from a corner and a mistimed tackle. This was how the first half ended. 
Second half started with a lot of pressure from North Petherwin and they eventually got the goal they deserved. Crook sliding in from behind and fouled the striker. Darren Volz sent Seldon the wrong way and gave NP a lifeline. This actually spurred Castle on who didn’t start the second half well but this did start us playing a bit better. 3-1 came late on with Jolliffe running away from the defenders before unleashing an unstoppable strike in off the crossbar from outside the box. A goal his performance deserved. Good result against a high flying side.

Former county team mate and keeper Steve Nute controlled the game excellently with the whistle  👍⚽️
Some good football played by both sides and a great dipping volley by the Bodmin captain for the goal of the game.

Also well done to the Polzeath no.9 who headed over from 2 yards with about 20 to go, was harder to miss! But showed 

a good bit of bottle to go on and score 2 after that, 1 of them a harder header than the one he missed! 👍👏🏼
Callywith 3G a top facility, great to see some football 👍⚽️

We’ve all been there Coady! Remember stretching for a far post cross up Appledore, bout a yard out, thought I’d just get a toe on it, hit my instep onto the underside of the bar and out! Loads worse than yours! Would have been world class defending! Got to forget those though ain’t you!! Just think of the 2 good finishes after that mate 👍⚽️⚽️👏🏼
