Second in the league visiting, Parkway on a good run of form and Argyle not playing until tomorrow. Would have been a bumper crowd at Bolitho. Can’t help but say this was always going to happen sharing a ground. Ands it not even a bad weather spell yet

New drainage system and surface. As plenty of time served and weather beaten grounds keepers would acknowledge, it takes a year or so for it to settle down. With Truro ground sharing this season (and probably next as well) this wasn't possible. Bolitho Park is due to host five Parkway or Truro matches over the next 15 days, the groundstaff must be hoping for a run of dry days

Depending of course on what type of system was installed and what medium was worked into the actual structure of the top 6" to 9" of the profile...expensive to say the least. Any penny pinching and the pitch and fixtures would pay the price, had a similar conversation with Truro many years ago, they took out two of the constituent parts of their pitch construction and paid the price (literally) over the next few seasons and in the end had to spend large sums to just to get back to normality! I'm surprised that this game was played - Bideford being the Covid Hot Spot of Britain right now. Thankfully the players are ok however! Of course another factor could well be that not many are actually from Bideford.
