Snogger 2.0
Saints 3-2 SNE From early the saints were up for it early shouts in the warm up coming from Seth Couch who claims to have 3/4 sprint races? Tough battle all over the park and we’re only separated by a piece of magic from None other than Peter Crouch which can be described by no other words apart from Bergkampesque. HT 1-0 saints. Early in the second half both teams still battling away in this tough game. It soon became 1-1 when the saints had a lack of concentration at the back which allowed SNE to bury it in the net. The saints retook the lead from a corner were the captain rose like a salmon and nodded the ball in the top bin. The saints were then awarded a penalty and it was made 3-1. SNE got hope in the game where also their captain nodded the ball in the back of the net. MOTM could have gone to many people such as Curtis Goalby who had an outstanding game however, Without even touching the ball MOTM CC9 for his passion on the touch line. Snogger. VoiceofReason
St Blazey 1-0 St Cleer(HT0-0)Att:approx 40 Although not many clear chances a good game to watch this one. Not necessarily any flowing football on show but commitment and fight from both sides. The away side started the brighter with the dangerous Peel causing problems as he floated between midfield and attack. St Cleer had 2 chances to go ahead within the first 15 minutes with a St Blazey centre half completely missing the ball allowing Peel through on goal. He put his shot wide. Moments later a long ball over the top saw Peel in again but the St Blazey captain just did enough to put him off and again the shot was put wide. After this slow start St Blazey came back into the game and the rest of the half was pretty even with neither keeper really being called into action. The second half was a different affair with St Blazey coming out very lively and they began to cause problems for the St Cleer defence. The St Blazey striker Swiggs caused endless problems for the St Cleer defence who looked decidedly shaky. St Blazey went 1 nil up after a good move from the back into the wide right forward who unselfishly squared for Swiggs to finish via a touch from the keeper. Not long after the same player squared for Swiggs again but he put the ball over the top. He would have expected to score. St Cleer pushed and threw men forward but St Blazey never really looked in danger with the defence holding firm. The only real moment of danger for the hosts was a long-range shot which looked easy enough to handle but the keeper pushed it back into a dangerous area. The ball was eventually scrambled away. A good result for a spirited St Blazey who I believe have now won two in a row without conceding. St Cleer clearly a good side who will be towards the top end of the league but just couldn't live with the home side in the second half. St Newlyn East AFC
St Newlyn East 2-3 St Stephen A very close game with the visitors taking the points thanks mainly to the game’s best goal and moment of class from Ben Rosevear in the first half. Newlyn’s striker lost possession and the ball quickly found Rosevear whose turn and finish opened the scoring. St Stephen we’re the better team in this half - our 6 weeks without a game showing - closing and pressing as a unit. Newlyn stated the 2nd half brighter and deservedly equalised from Matt Toms only to see them quickly concede from a corner. The 5ft 6 Toms somehow found himself marking St Stephens 6ft + skipper Damerell who effectively had a free header to restore the lead. . St Stephens 3rd goal quickly followed when an innocuous challenge from Josh Dingle saw the referee correctly award a penalty that was duly converted, Nrelyn kept attacking and scored their second when Jamie Seery rose highest to head home a Mitchell free-kick. Newlyn had chances to equalise from open play and also from goalmouth scrambles but the visitors held firm. Overall we are disappointed not to get something from the game as probably on reflection a draw would have been a fair result that neither side would probably have complained about - but that’s football... Good luck to St Stephen for the rest of the season. Jiggy. SNEFC Manager coady-9 and Foul Throw 3

SNEFC Manager Fair analysis there I felt we done enough to take the 3 points but as you’ve said couldn’t of argued had you pinched an equaliser good game in all. And fair play to the newlyn management team for good banter on the touch line always makes it more enjoyable 👍🏻
