CORNWALL AIRPORT NEWQUAY DUCHY LEAGUE

The latest spell of rain restricted the Duchy programme to just one game, which saw Nanpean Rovers go three points clear at the top of Division Two. It was a minor miracle that the game survived with heavy rain before and during the game adding to the rain of the previous week. The Willmott brothers took a starring role with Jordi and Reece each scoring four goals as Nanpean crushed Calstock 14-1. George Bartlett added a hat trick with Lewis Burnett bagging a brace and Jack Taylor completing the rout. The beleaguered visitors were thirteen behind before they scored their consolation goal but there was still time for Reece Willmott to match his brothers tally with the final goal of the game.
