Paul
St Blazey 7v1 Plymouth Parkway. Tonight has to be one of St Blazeys best victorys in recent years. After arriving at Blaize Park to find out both central defenders were not available, and still two of our best midfielders out injured along with 2 more midfielders unavailable, it was hard to see a strong Parkway side not leaving with 3 points. But St Blazey battled away early on and should have been two up before taking the lead through Lewis Coombes with a bullet header from a corner. Another corner soon after was smashed some by our left back Ilies with a neat finish. Parkways pulled one back after St Blazey lost possesion nesr Parkways box with a 50-50 challenge that flew the opposite way and ended up with Parkway lobbing Painter. We feared the comeback was on but minutes later Blazey smashed in a 3rd after good work from Coombes and Arron Spear finishing well. Then a cheaky 4th before half tiime as we broke down the right and beat the keeper at his near post with a good finish. Expecting a Parkway fightback never really got started and Coombes added a 5th at the start of the second half before completing his hat-trick with the our 7th. Bloomfield ran on to a long ball and with keeper coming out, lobbed him for a cracking 6th!! Good crowd there tonight, Well over 100 id imagine. A long time since a round off applause like that was heard around Blaize Park. Well done to Bobby and all the players and the second team players coming in. Thats what it should be all about. One CLUB. Bring on Gillingham Town on Saturday. Oh....after hearing the Parkway maanger give his side a dressing down afterwards, fair play to them for sticking around after for a drink. They probably needed it. COYGs
SteveM
Excellent counterattacking performance. Turns out Blazey don't need wingers after all and Seb is quick enough when he wants to be! Well done in particular to the 2nd teamers in defense, Rundle and Retallick, who both stepped up and demonstrated the quality of the 2nd team. PUGWASH
Was not expecting this result ? Any Parkway followers comments please. From what I hear Parkway had a strong team out.
RobinVanParkway
Fair shout Paul, cant argue with that summary. Got to hand it to Blazey they thoroughly deserved the win. Coombes and Spear were outstanding last night and a constant threat. The lads that were missing from your line-up had better beware, the lads that came in as cover played very well.....well done one and all. Good luck in your Vase game against Gillingham at the weekend. RVP

Henning Berg
Fantastic result Blazey, massive well done. Thought they would severely miss their best players in Daw and Swain against Parkway, but wow did they prove most of the crowd wrong. Great to see 2nd teamers stepping up and playing out of their skin too Bobby must be delighted

someplayermind
Having watched the game as a neutral I thought blazey were terrific. Thought Dave barker in the middle marked Krac out of the game and also Coombes and spear looked good again... Great result and good game to watch! Jeff's Telling
Pretty obvious comment, but this must the result of the season so far (other than AFC St Austell's win over Saltash United perhaps) Wonder when Plymouth Parkway last had this size of defeat ? chairman
Great result for Bob Oaten's squad and the Blaise Park faithfull. This should give them the confidence to dismiss a struggling side on Saturday.
Paul
Just need to remember that Saturday will be completely different and just because we've won well last night, won't mean nothing at 3pm on Saturday. Fingers crossed we see another performance like that and then it would be nice to listen out for the draw. Fingers crossed.

100%cornish
I couldlnt believe it when i saw this result because Parkway have been scoring for fun and Levi Landricombe keeps getting hat tricks . Definitly result of the season maybe the GS result away to Exmouth was a shock result as well

Paul
With the efforts we had on goal and the chances it could easily have been double figures. We caught Parkway on a bad night. Makes up for the 8v1 defeat we had to go through a few years ago from Parkway.
Ian Pethick
Well done to all at Blazey. From what I have heard, very few teams could have lived with them last night, but remember that it is just one match. Was travelling back from a holiday, so couldn't get to the game. It certainly gave me a shock though when I saw the score on Twitter. From a Bolitho Park point of view ,perhaps this is what Parkway need. Too many of the big players don't look the same as last season, our defence and backline do not look secure at all and even look suspect at times with the conceding of early goals becoming a habit (we have been behind at some stage or another in nine out of this seasons nineteen matches).Out of the new signings, only Andrew Neale has really shone so far, and perhaps the goals from him and Levi Landricombe have masked indifferent performances. Parkway are finding out the hard way that defending a title is harder than winning it.
