keane won more but his nasty vindictiveness was revealed in his book viera for me as he held the gunners midfield together and came to this country as an unknown , the gunners have never had the same commanding midfielder since he left,

I dont think vieira was unplayable in his prime, a very good midfielder and leader.

As keano said on the documentary steve, he never went out to end peoples careers, but he did go out to hurt them. That was his job.

One thing for sure, is that in there prime they were both very good midfielders, United would kill to have some one like that now.

viera has also said that scholes was his toughest opponent not keane......6ft 4 with his pace and power made viera unplayable in my opinon the same as yaya toure is today when on form.

we could have done with viera yesterday , toure [ya ya] the gunners messed him about when he was younger who we could do with someone like that now , arsene missed out on that one he was on trial but we did not take up the chance to take him ,the nearest to viera i have seen
