Savo
Understand the transfer deadline part but not allowing transfers for unsigned players is a bit harsh
SY WINNAN
Wot about for youngsters then who turn 16 after that date
Martin McHugh
I thought the league had stated that no transfers after end of the month but players could still be signed? Might be worth checking MQx
Pitty
It used to be only transfers but was changed to both registration & transfers. The Trelawny league have the same rule. Agree though on under 16's turning 16 in april and may are disadvantaged as well as non registered players with any club seems as though a couple of adjustments should be applied/proposed
Dave Deacon
I'm told by the ECPL that their "rules allow the signing of players who have not previously signed, but do not allow Transfers after 31st March."
Martin McHugh
That's what we were told as well Dave. MQx
Pitty
If that's the case combination & ecpl rules differ....won't be the first time!
stevieb
such a shame when all clubs need new blood and we are trying at all levels of the game to encourage more people to become involved perhaps the clubs need to get their thinking caps on and see if the rules for players and young players just turning 16 can be made exceptions and players moving to the area can get agame
