Dave Deacon
The first Truro Fans Trust meeting went well at Treyew Road, although there was concern over a Players meeting with the proposed buyers taking place simultaneously. It's suggested there will be an announcement coming out from player/manager Lee Hodges later today.
MOUNTAINEER
The Club Secretary has said to someone at the club today there will not be any statement, apparantly it was a communication meeting between potential owners, manager and players. Roll on the time we can experience a speculation free day.
Dave Deacon
Communication meeting must have been - to make one of the players tweet : "More trouble and strife ahead, more false promises made. Things are never looking up! You know what I am talking about" Lets hope it was something about nothing 👽

MOUNTAINEER
I don't think players should be on facebook or twitter talking about the clubs they are contracted to work for, I think it is as wrong as an employee in industry doing the same, in some circumstances it could do more harm than good to club or company. Transparency is alright if there are things to make public, at this time when delicate negotiations may be necessary it may not be the right time to be so, could do more harm than good. The nature of what the tweet refers to above could be the wage bill, attendance etc. two home gates recently of 613 followed by a 199 drop to 414 does not pay a £5,500 a week wage bill and all the other expenses. If we have to lower our sights to retain a level slightly lower than we play now we may need to get use to scorelines of Maidenhead proportions (8-0), unfortunately if that happened I can't see the support staying around for long. Where are we now? Oh yes - just six ties from Wembley.
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
It may be 6 ties away, but it looks more like a mountain - errr!!! to me. Of course mountaineer, all the clubs internal critics were removed from the scenario, and replaced with sychophants.
