cornishteddyboy - I'm afraid your obvious dislike towards Mr Heaney is getting somewhat tiresome. Why don't we just stick to the football topics and forget about continually bringing up personal issues.

As Administrators and Moderators alike we try and protect 3rd parties as much as we can on this Forum from personal attack.

Yes it was a lush surface, it may not have been all that great to play on, only the players could answer that,

the grass IMO was long and dense, that may have contributed to quite a number of players slipping and sliding

when least expected, the groundsman had done a wonderful job, we commented on that at the time, I just

wonder if such a lush surface could be strength sapping. - Bet they would like it at Old Trafford.

Is there likely to be a better pitch to play on in that league >>>>>>>>> Answer has to be NO.
