Guest Peppermint
Truro City 1 Gloucester City 0 - City through to First Round Proper, Attendance between 200 and 300 a bit disappointing but the weather obviously did not help. Lee_
The weather totally dominated but well done to City for grinding out the result. Arron Pugh got the final touch from a swirling cross in the first half, attendance was given as 217 I believe.

Pablo
That's a big game. Chelmsford have also been climbing the leagues over the last few years. They have great support.
Guest Peppermint
An interesting comment from Pablo re Chelmsford City and their great support - I note on the Hornchurch AFC's Website that their match report of the replay between Hornchurch and Chelmsford last Tuesday evening that they were quite scathing about the lack of away support for the visitors mentioning some 12 supporters! I also note from the Chelmsford City site that they had to get an athletics event scheduled for the same day moved before they could play the Truro tie - there is a running tracl around their Melbourne Park ground. Pablo
Okay I'll re-phrase part of my post: Chelmsford City are well supported at home. At a guess their average gate is in four figures.
Guest Peppermint
Sorry Pablo I was not having a go at you - because Chelmsford City do have good following at home - some gates of four figures. It was just that I picked up from Hornchurch's website that they had very little support in their recent replay and obviously they did not have travel a great distance that night. Pablo
No prob's Peppermint. A dozen travelling fans for a club like Chelmsford is pretty pathetic I'd say!
