I'd say it's the Friday night factor, I've been urging Newquay to get more friday night games this season and hope that at least 3 get arranged.

Footy fans love friday nights, crap soaps on TV, a good excuse for more drinking and get to watch another game on Saturday, what more reasons do you need ?

A record League gate for Bolitho Park which has never seen a sub 100 attendance.

A good 415 gate but it falls well short of the Premier League record of

491 Buckland v Witheridge last Easter.

The record for a SWPL game was

737 at Mount Wise, Newquay v Godolphin in Division 1 West.(Boxing day)
