best manager??

Recommended Posts

Surely the best manager in the league is the person who can put the best team together on the smallest or no budget. A team that punches way above it's expected weight. Even an average manager could put a good team together if they had the finances.

A good manager is a man manager not a money manager.

It's a pity that managers nowadays are not given the time to do the job they are given as everyone expects instant success.

In honestly which clubs are paying out no money for players in the SWPL Premier and are holding their head up in the division?

Hilton is a good manager, but can he manage on a small budget?

Newquay already have one of the smallest budgets in the SWPL. Our players are not interested in money, they play for the club, the manager, their team-mates and the fans. The spirit at Mount Wise is the best I have ever known it and that is primarily down to Jim Hilton, supported by Lee Hawkey who dosn't get the credit he deserves for his contribution.

But it is not all down to the SWPL boys, Andy Bicknell has supported the SWPL side by bringing on some great players from the Combo side, all of whom have made an impact and pushed PZ all the way last season. A great club from top to bottom (we also have the best ballboy anywhere in the world)

If there is a better manager than Jim Hilton in Div 1 West, then I'm a Falmouth Fan !

Keep an eye on Mike Beckett at Wadebridge. Great experience, good motivator, decent players and support of the club. Could be a great year. :D :yahoo:

Hope he manages to smile a bit though. I remember him from his days at PAYD at Bodmin, dead grumpy, can't say he motivated the lads involved there at all.

Good Luck at Wadebridge Mike.
