If you look at every team in this league apart from a couple they all use SWPL players, the difference between them and liskeard, we aren’t playing any players who play for a different SWPL team YET. also the funny thing about it is the teams crying about it are the ones that do it aswell. Same as boscastle the other night crying about it but have done the same this season and had a SWPL playing against us, same as when we played Polperro in a friendly the other week because cam Paterson and Jayden Gilbert haven’t played for a while they played them as they wanted minutes and it was nice to see our young players challenging better players. I am sure when we play Nanpean on Saturday they will have a couple so what that’s football. stop crying. Well done to Saltash Borough BTW great win, saltash crying about Reece and Henry but play Ben Walters and Ryan Knight who I believe are at Holsworthy and dobwalls ?

You are correct Max Gilbert 4, Ben Colin’s, Will Gilbert and Harry Jefferies all got 1 plus Tre getting 2 when your first team haven’t played for nearly 7 weeks and we are pushing to bring first seconds and third more together you have to give players minutes. It’s also very good for our younger players to have the chance to player with more experienced players. The main thing is 11 players out of 16 today all local lads, 3 players have now played for the club for two seasons. credit to Looe Town the lads kepted working hard till the final whistle.

Very honest match report nailed it for our perspective after a very tough 2023 the lads the last couple of games have been excellent, I have really enjoyed my last couple weeks being involved with the group of lads, I will agree with you Joe the Captain has been excellent, on and off the pitch. Drew in the end I think was the right result, good luck for the rest of the season and wish you and torpoint all the best. Oh a special to your 8 Michael Heron I believe played very well. Always nice to share the touchline with Mr Stephens aswell.

LISKEARD management step down
LeeMann replied to Tamar.man's topic in Kitchen Kit Peninsula League Forum
I completely agree with you football chat but sometimes we have to change to be better in life, being involved in ladies football has definitely shown a different side of me and yes you’ll still hear me appeal for things but I am aiming for NO red cards this season. So you better come and watch games so you can keep an eye 👀😂 -
LISKEARD management step down
LeeMann replied to Tamar.man's topic in Kitchen Kit Peninsula League Forum
To many players and managers burn bridges when they leave at the end of the day you get the best out of players when they are happy if they want to play for someone else then I will always wish them luck. The 3 that have left James L James R and Sam H are decent lads that want a new challenge. It’s only football at the end of the day. People’s health and well-being is more important. No we take it very very serious and we will have to as can’t expect players to do it if management can’t. X -
LISKEARD management step down
LeeMann replied to Tamar.man's topic in Kitchen Kit Peninsula League Forum
100% agree we have had a meeting and big topic was discipline and commitment, that’s from both players and management, most clubs are doing good business sets the league up for a very entertaining year. Keep an eye out next week 🫣🤔 wish Sam Hill the best of luck at Bodmin top lad who always keeps himself fit and healthy but he got an offer he couldn’t turn down. ⚽️💙
