Not the best of games at Perranwell today. I'm sure the conditions didn't help to be fair. A couple of petty incidents during the game. A game in which Redruth controlled for large parts. I'm sure they will stay up if they play like they did today. On the other hand I'm sure Perranwell will be looking forward to the season finishing. Quite a few players out today and it showed. They couldn't get anything going and if it wasn't for the young keeper Redruth could've scored quite a few more than what they did.

Only 7 of the Well first team available today and with the seconds still just about in a promotion chase, the multiple games at the end of the season have taken their toll with injuries, it was as much as we could do to put 11 on the field. The rain in the first half was biblical and it must have been touch and go whether to continue. With standing water on the pitch, this was more the reason for some "interesting" challenges. Redruth took their chances and got a deflection for their second, on a day when all we could do was try damage limitation. Credit to all the lads who played for the Well today, the effort couldn't be criticised.

This season has been a hard one for lot's of teams. The bad weather and then having to play 3 to 4 times a week at the end of season is hard. You just hope your player's don't pick up injuries, The last couple game's we have had we had 9 and 12 player's away or injured, not known a season like it for injuries.

Can't but agree Willy, it's been a crazy season and one I'm sure we'll all be glad to see the back of. Getting interesting at the top after today's results, hope it doesn't finish on the basis of the last man standing!

Culdrose 1-4 Hayle same score h/t  att about 15, With a good away support of 10  Cameron Irish with 2, Matt Thomas , and Charlie Parker with the others , Cam missed a penalty which rebounded off the post , could and should have been more goals but some wayward finishing and a couple of saves  kept the score down , scrappy  2nd half , but fair enough result ,  another three points  away from home , the ref played good advantage for Cameron second goal , and no rain got back home and the wife said it poured down in Hayle , one game to go .  Echo Willy  7 been a long hard season ,  and the weather has been horrendous , well done to all ground staff for getting the season over the line because it hasn't been an easy job .

We have already started working on the pitches. The main pitch gets around 120 games a season on with with adult and youth games, groundsman does a great job as I am sure all the others do.

Thanks, Zebedee (re Carharrack/Pendeen). But 1-1 then 0-5 in the two games? You get used to seeing scores like that when there's a few days or weeks between the 2 games - but all within about two back-to-back 30 minute games? Funny old game....! With P'porth dropping points, the C must be kicking themselves over that 1-1!

See how they do on Tuesday evening at Illogan (6.30pm). RBL a bit lack-lustre today, despite a last-kick-of-the-half goal back to make a 2nd half come-back look possible: but Penryn held on and deserved their win. Took most of their chances whilst Illogan squandered several of theirs!

Tom, two sixty minute games.
