andy
Whitehot - a win yes but I wouldn't say a great win. Falmouth took two chances well in an otherwise 'quiet' match. Have to say it looked like a stereotype end-of-season game between two teams with not a lot to play for. But you'll probably sai I'm biased as I was watching Wadebridge. Mike Odgers
Scorers- Hugh Howlett(his first) and Neil Slateford 4th consecutive Away win (SWPL club record)
hammers
Another good win for the Town, it may not have been a clasic, but Wadebridge are never an easy team to beat away. they have always been a hard team for Falmouth to beat, but at the end of the day it is goals that count, good end of the season win, will give a lift to the whole club, in readyness for next season. Stuart Dudley
Not a great game, but played in a good spirit between two honest, hard working, evenly matched teams on the night. Sums up our season really - Falmouth scored via Howlett with a wonder strike for the first and the second came from a complete mis-control on the half way line that allowed the impressive Slateford to run through unchallenged to score. We saw an amazing save from Chappie and two open goals go begging and the customary performance from the usual suspects, bemusing many. All the best to Falmouth and Alan and glad the injured player that went to hospital was ok in the end (I think it was Rob Carey?).
Mark Jones
Well done to Alan Carey and the players! Wadebridge away always seems to be our boggy side! Best of luck to Wadebridge for the future.
nabbot
'Andy 'B' you quote three own goals, for which team. With Elburton still having two home games in Torpoint & Wadebridge it seems they have real chance of survival.
Ghost on the post
The first three goals were blatent own goals 2 by Tavy & 1 by Elburton. The third by Elburton was a massive deflection from a free kick that made it 3-1. I think it then went 4-1 to elburton with a cross coming in from the left hand side and it went in off a defenders back or shoulder, again! Tavi's second was the only 'clear' goal of the game with a head at the far post from sam chitty.

It was a bizarre game that Elburton thoroughly deserved to win , not quite sure what "blatant" is supposed to mean but our second goal was deflected in by Glen Halford and not a Tavi defender . The great escape is on ! Up the Villa
