Confused by Truro's lack of goal threat when you take into account the players they have.

You've commented previously on City's rigid style of play, and in particular their lack of creativity from wide positions. Seen them a few occasions this season, and it's something I would agree with.

Still very much in the relegation battle I'm afraid. Dover look doomed, with 3 from Hemel downwards very much in peril. Consensus is that 50 points will see you safe, so 3 wins from the last 11 games will probably be Paul Wotton's aim.

The loss at the weekend, 1 up with 10 to go was a dagger to the heart. 2 wins from 11 seems a doddle in comparison to 3. Need to get it done early before fatigue totally kicks in

Think Taunton have a squad and enough home games to get out of the relegation places .
Truro effectively playing every game away with no vocal support going be tough ask to stay up .

Certainly a passionate support at Taunton, heard that there was a bit of crowd trouble after the home game versus Chelmsford last Saturday.

Think City and Town will both scrabble enough points despite the volume of games in quick succession. For example, on paper, a home draw at 'home' to fellow strugglers Dartford doesn't look great. However, the thing with six pointer games, is that the team in the better position doesn't lose and City didn't. Job done this midweek.

My big issue with the remaining games for City (and Parkway in the Southern Prem) is that the league is being compromised. Both these teams being tested more on endurance than ability which isn't great. That said, hopefully City (and Parkway) get the required points needed [ASAP] to wrap up this ghastly season!

Totally agree with your comment regarding the league being compromised. Looking at Parkway's final 12 matches, only 2 of their opponents could really say that they have no remaining interest at either end of the table. We could see some strange results as a consequence of player fitness and availability (or a lack of). No side put out by Lee Hobbs will ever be less than 100% committed, but they will  probably  be running on fumes by the time we call time on this horrible season on April 27th. Saw Parkway get turned over by Hayes in the final away match of last season last April, and it was quite clear the side had little left. Only 1 sub, people forced to play out of position and a couple that were obviously injured and probably shouldn't have been on the pitch. Semi-pro footballers being forced onto the pitch to fulfill this horrific schedule at the behest of the FA (for the good of the game apparently), is little short of a disgrace. Serious questions need to be asked of them as the governing body regarding their duty of care towards players. What would the reaction be if race horses were put through this sort of schedule?

Tbf the Eastbourne lad would have been shot behind a curtain and the game been allowed to finish in that scenario.
