Ian Pethick
No surprise really that the game at Bolitho is already off. Sensible decision by all sides to have a Friday afternoon pitch inspection, a big headache though now trying to fit this rearranged game in somewhere. Devils@Dusk
We're now in the last month of the season. I can't see how this is going to be handled (both teams playing home matches), if Parkway's pitch doesn't show any signs of improvement (i.e. by drying up). Ian Pethick
And remember, if Truro get promoted to the NLS, it will be a minimum of 44 (instead of 42 this season) home matches to be played at Bolitho as it's a 24 team league. Footy follower
And again Parkway will get an upgrade in facilities....clever move in the long term if Truro go up
Gary Hocking
If Truro are confident that the new stadium will be ready for the 2024/25 season then presumably there would be no need to upgrade Bolitho to the National League South standard? Won’t Truro’s March 2024 assessment be based on where they will be playing in the season that follows?

Yes, would think that if the league allow a 12 month grace period, then that would be based on a level of confidence about the new stadium being ready for 2024/25. Don't know how true it is, but heard that Truro had until March 31st to get ground for next season sorted (or face a possible 2 step relegation back to the Western League). This would have put Parkway in a pretty strong negotiating position, no idea if City had a plan B in place.
sportsman10
Trust me the screw was very truly turned and some. It’s only benefit parkway get out if it. Bearing in mind they would have done all this work them self’s anyway. The pitch will no doubt have to be ripped up yet again after the season is finished
