Praze 3-1 Helston

Helston had a couple of chances in the game but unfortunately were no match for the canaries, who played some excellent football.

I was very impressed with the young lad on the left wing, osiah or something along those lines? He ran for 90 minutes constantly and looks promising.

It was a toss up between the Praze 3rd goal and the Helston free kick for goal of the day.

The pitch took a bit of a beating, let’s hope the weather through the week is kind to us!

Phil Cuthbert the referee had a good game today, and a special mention to Mr Helston Barry Hennessy returning in between the sticks. Good to see you back on the pitch.

Top of the league with St Just dropping points today, confidence is very high for Praze FC.

Up the canaries 🟡🟢

Mawnan 6 - 1 Culdrose

Culdrose came out of the traps quickly took an early lead through Daniel Hindmarsh, we then had a chance to go 2-0 up very soon after that wasn't taken, Mawnan had a good chance soon after and our keeper pulled off a very good save, but from that point on we were our own worst enemy! Making mistake after mistake that Mawnan took advantage of and they went in 2-1 up at half time without having to do too much work for it.

Second half was a very different story with Mawnan bossing it from whistle to whistle and in all honesty Culdrose were lucky to get away with the score line that we did.

Good luck to Mawnan for the rest of the season, we have played them 3 times this season and all of them have been feisty affairs, the types of games that are great when you win but horrible to lose.

Thanks to the ref as well, like I have said it was a bit of feisty game on a weathered pitch and he dealt with everything fairly
