Boxy
Looe Town Res 3-3 Foxhole Stars Res. Looe went 2-0 down early on to then bring it back to 2-2 at halftime. Foxhole scored early again in the Second half. Looe equalised on the 75th minute. Great game played and considering Looe had 3 x 16 year olds in their back four, makes it all the better to get a well earned point. Also a total of 7 lads u18 today so the futures looking good for the side. 👏👏👏 Dave Deacon

rwilliams
North Petherwin Res 1 - Boscastle Res 4 Been a while since I've felt like writing a match report on here. Been a very tough season so far for us. Our hard work paid off on the weekend with a great result and our first points away from home this season. After a sloppy start we settled into things but were hit with an absolute worldy from the young NP forward. Whether it was a cross or not we will leave that for him but looked destined for the top corner before Seldon got a fingertip onto the post and the ball rebounding off his back and in. Unlucky but a reward for an unreal strike. Heads didn't drop and we found ourselves back level with a sweeping move from right to left and crossing the ball and looping in over the home keeper. HT 1-1. Growing in confidence Castle managed to gain the lead through Scott Percy with his first of the day. He raced onto 2 more through balls late on to complete his hat trick. Some very good finishing second half from him and the difference between the sides. NP lost a couple of their influential players through injury first half and that certainly didn't help them. Thought we were good value for all 3 points and good to bounce back after the heavy defeat the week previous. Dave Deacon
Ian B
GSM Utd 2 St Mawgan Res 0 The game started with GSM wearing their away shirts due to a colour clash caused by St Mawgan not reading the match confirmation noting the colour of our strip! The blue clad GSM got off to the perfect start, forcing a corner straight from the kick-off. St Mawgan failed to clear and Jack Cawrse slammed the ball into the roof of the net, with less than a minute gone. GSM were 2 up on 16 after good work by Hayden Cawrse to keep the ball in from an Angus Joce ball down the line. He then laid the ball inside to Jordan Rogers, who teed Jason Busby. Busby let fly from outside the box, his shot taking a slight deflection that wrong footed the keeper. St Mawgan almost pulled on back shortly after but Jordan was well placed to clear off the line after a scramble following a corner. Jordan almost added a GSM third before the half hour but his left foot shot crashed back off the post. H-T 2-0 Not much goalmouth action in the second half. Jordan ghosting in at the far post to meet a cross from Busby but keeper was perfectly placed to block his short. Stephen Floyd-Norris had the ball in the net, a beautiful looping header from 8 yards out but the goal was ruled out for offside. Nick Webb in the GSM goal didn't have to dirty his gloves as St Mawgan failed to muster any more efforts on goal. F-T 2-0 Thanks to the ref and linos. Good luck to St Mawgan for the rest of the season. GSM MOTM - Angus Joce
