Any match report in this? Line ups?

Sorry cornish leg end or is it legend ,post match drinks and a busy DIY day today have delayed any post match report.

Well what can I say ,other than town were outclassed in the 1rst 40 mins by there 4 leagues higher local rivals .Town were without there 2 regular centre halves ,James ward (honeymoon) and Toby Clarke (playing for his old club saltash against man utd legends) . Truro were sharper and more accurate with their passing ,throw in the odd dummy backheel and feigning of passes and it was easy to see how truro  went in at half time 5 -0 up ,thanks to Rooney 13 mins , 24 mins Ryan brett ,29 mins Rio Garside ,30 mins a Ryan Brett rocket ,and 36 mins Tyler Harvey .

Town manager Andy Westgarth obviously had stern words at half time as Town came out much more compact and with the introduction of new signing Alex Wharton up front with his pace  being fed by Luke Brabyn and Tim Nixon  was able to make runs in behind the truro defence but the final pass and shot was being blocked time and again. Even with the introduction of 6 subs at the same time Truro were unable to breach the Town defence anymore thanks to my Town M.O.M Tom Annear and Goalkeeper Ryan Barnes who saved a penalty .

So Town were poor 1rst half but the second half was a draw 0-0 😁

Overall it was a good afternoon despite the result ,great to be in the packet end again with the F troop .Not sure of the attendance but not many visible Truro fans ,probably a dozen down the away end .The rest must of been incognito .

As a footnote a ground hopper and blogger Russell Cox said despite the result the home team were the winners .An absolutely  stunning ground and brilliant fans . The ground is down to the small band of volunteers  who work tirelessly and with pride ,take a bow gentlemen ,you know who you are !👍
