St Blazey v Launceston

Saturday 11/10/2014 K.O 3pm

St Blazey host Launceston on Saturday looking to to join them on 18 points. St Blazey have 15 points to Launcestons 18 yet St Blazey have 6 games in hand. Launceston are currently 7th while St Blazey sit in mid table, 11th. Bobby Oaten will surly look to our home games as 3 potential points and a push for a solid top 6 finish. If St Blazey pick up 3 points tomorrow they could be as high as 6th!! What more motivation could a team need? St Blazey along with Saltash are the only 2 sides in the SWPL who have yet to draw a single match while St Blazey and Launceston are the only 2 sides in the SWPL who have a nil goal difference. Will that still be the case come 4.45pm tomorrow? :goal:

After Wednesdays fantastic win over inform Ivybridge, St Blazey have now kept 5 clean sheets in their 10 fixtures in all competitions. Of the 11 goals St Blazey have conceded, 5 came against Parkway on the opening day and 3 against Torpoint just 2 weeks later. Since then, St Blazey have been hard to break down and find themselves above Torpoint and could be above Parkway with their game in hand. An excellent turn around from the early set backs. :goal:

The tea hut is now fully open and as always the bar will be open all day. :drink:

Full time, 1v1. St Blazey will feel they threw away the win by conceding a penalty when in total control of the game and 1v0 up. In the end Launceston might have nicked it. But with St Blazey in total control they couldn't get the second goal to kill the game off. Att 84

They were being used every home match but havnt seen that for a while. I think they were put there originally for the senior cup final several years ago now. Possibly between Bodmin and Truro?? They were used for additional dressing rooms etc for the two matches.
