Paul
Huge win for St Blazey against Barnstaple. Not a lot in it really. Barnstaple started well but it was St Blazey who took the lead with a good Seb Broomfield finish. Second half St Blazey playing with a strong wind looked much better and held on for the win. Barnstaple came close to an equaliser in the last few minutes when they hit the bar. Not sure when the draw is, but lets hope we dont draw any local sides (SWPL) Its been a good day for the SWPL sides and with St Austell already through and Bodmin still to come in to it, we will do well to avoid anyone of them. Personal choice, a nice away day somewhere where we havnt played before. Fingers crossed. Big win for Newquay today. Never expected that.

Kernowman
Great wins in the cup, especially for teams close to the bottom of the SWPL - ST Blazey, Falmouth and Newquay. Keep it going!

Ian Pethick
Keynsham 2 Parkway 3 ( Bass, Neale 2) ( HT 2-1) Parkway managed to extricate themselves from a large hole that they had dug for themselves in this pulsating Vase tie. They were punished for a nonchalant opening spell when Keynsham seized upon Gavin Coulton's misguided header to score neatly past Josh Colwill , before a comedy of errors at the back in which Colwill was received a badly judged backpass, and then presented the ball to Keynsham to double the advantage. Coulton then rounded off his miserable half when his wild kick on a Keynsham player resulted in a 20 man melee which caused the spectators of the adjoining rugby match to stop and watch (sorry, they are always entertaining though), and then a straight red for himself. Parkway gave themselves a lifeline when Jordan Trott had his free kick brilliantly saved, only for the ever alert Jamie Bass to force home the rebound. Parkway lay seige to the Keynsham goal in the second half as the home team's rough play finally forced the referee to give out another card and level the numbers. Glorious chances were spurned by Ryan Richards (twice) , Bass,Andrew Neale and Will Stringer, a Shane Krac free kick was brilliantly saved while Keynsham were always threatening on the break as Parkway poured forward. Finally, just as time was running out, the bruised and battered Neale levelled the scores to the travelling contingents relief, before he then scored a brilliant injury time winner.
