jay1982
Why are Senior cup matches kicked off at 2pm?
Phil_Ellis
To allow for extra time young jay, obviously in the winter months teams without lighting will struggle if games go to ET and of course penalties from a 3 pm KO

John Mead
When the original draw was made, the first 2 teams out of the hat became "Game 1" and the next 2 teams became "Game 2" and so on. The next round was then drawn using the game numbers to decide who was playing who. Unfortunately, someone decided it was better to publish the first draw in alphabetical order, rather than the order in which the games were drawn, so the first fixture on the list was no longer the official "Game 1" and this was repeated with the other games; this resulted in people generating a totally different set of fixtures from the official, correct ones! Always best to rely on the CCFA website rather than take everything you read in the papers (or on here!) as gospel truth.

There are only 14 Cornish clubs in SWPL 1W. Truro City do not appear on the entry list at all this season, so the 25 Cornish SWPL clubs will join the seven First Round winners. Mike Odgers
Agreed -I shouldn't start counting late at night.lolBut a bit embarrassing the Cornish top club not involved.
as5680
It is a shame that Truro are not represented. The competition rules do say that clubs above Step 5 would in theory enter their reserve team, as Truro have done in recent years, so I presume that it is the disbanding of their reserves which is behind their absence.
