AJW
Duchy 1 Grampound 2-1 Altarnun This was a tight game that Grampound managed to squeeze all the points from with a Shane Weeks winner 15 minutes from time. Earlier, Altarnun took a first half lead when a corner was cleared, only to be returned to the danger area where Josh Harris slipped the ball home. Grampound equalised early in the second half when the ball was laid back to Lee Budge 20 yards out and his top corner shot was unstoppable. The winner came from good work down the left which gave Derrick Lucas the chance to produce a perfect cross for Weeks to control on his chest and plant past the Altarnun goalkeeper. The game was played in an excellent spirit - hardly a foul in the game - and we wish Altarnun and their players good luck in their Launceston Cup final this Sunday. Great management team and a good bunch of lads. Look forward to seeing you next season.

AVFC4
St Minver 2-7 St Newlyn East Poor result for Minver, despite our opponents having a vastly different side from the reverse fixture. Also a no show after the game in the social club, poor effort.
newlyneastno.10
St Minver 2-7 St Newlyn East Poor result for Minver, despite our opponents having a vastly different side from the reverse fixture. Also a no show after the game in the social club, poor effort. We did explain to one of your players before the game that we wouldn't be able to stay for a drink after the game as the vast majority of the squad were attending a charity thing in Falmouth that started at 6:30pm! Apologies if this wasn't passed on to the rest of you
