David Bray Posted October 16, 2013 Report Share Posted October 16, 2013 Cornwall Youth Under 18's v The Amateur Football Alliance, a second round fixture in the FA County Youth Cup, will be played on Saturday 9th November. Details of venue and kick off time will be published as soon as possible.Meanwhile their South West Counties Knockout Cup fixture away to Gloucestershire on Saturday 26th October. Cornwall requested a re scheduling of this fixture but could not get an agreement from the Gloucestershire CFA therefore the fixture goes ahead. David Bray Posted October 16, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 16, 2013 Why was the rescheduling requested David?Just to give a tad more space between matches.Gloucestershire FA own their ground which encompass their County Headquarters.They have recently torn up the grass surface to now become a synthetic 'astro'.And it is apparently well booked for weekend football and coaching etc. Therefore no chance of a spare Saturday this side of Christmas.Fair enough - one can only ask. Cornwall requested a re scheduling of this fixture but could not get an agreement from the Gloucestershire CFA therefore the fixture goes ahead.The FA County Youth Cup 2nd Round tie will be played at St.Blazey FC with a 12 noon kick off.The AFA have a train to catch at about 4.30 hence the early kick off time.Group Rail Fares cheaper than coach hire these days.
