Julian Chenery
Having relocated to Croydon through work I will have the opportunity to watch and support a Cornish club when Truro play Woking away next Saturday. I think I can find the ground easy enough from the train station though am not sure if there is a designated away end? Also is there a pub the Truro fans will be going to near the ground? Thanks. DanBlazey
I was there not too long ago and I'm pretty sure the fans aren't segregated.
somersetspur
There are a few lads going, along with the Exiles. They do plan a meet at a pub. The details are usually on the Trurofans website. If you cant access the site. I can leave some details on here for you.
Paul
Nice little ground at Woking. Not cheap mind. I watched Woking 2v2 Hereford some years ago on a monday night before watching Palace v Argyle on the tuesday. A nice modern seated stand behind one goal which is the best stand for watching the match. The home fans prefere the covered terrace at the other end. MOUNTAINEER
At this level segregation is not normal. as Saturday will be a celebration day for their supporters it may be, we probably won't know until Saturday, one thing is certain, we will have a good view. DGGG
For Woking's Kingfield ground. Out of the station on the downside. Turn right. walk to main Guildford road turn left. walk down the hill. where the road turns towards Guildford go straight on towards Old Woking. the road sweeps to the left over small bridge Ground is then 50 yds on your right. There was never an away end when I played there. Should take 20 mins. Cheers. Dale.
MOUNTAINEER
In Woking's old Conference premier years they had segregation when I visited, crowds were much larger in those days. On the Woking website there are arrangements for such times segregation is deemed necessary, if celebrating winning the league is one of those times we may find it in place on Saturday although unlikely. DGGG
Hi Dave. Yes, Ok we are talking the 60's!! But apart from the big stand to the right as the players come out nothings changed including " Moaners corner " in the right hand corner. Miss the programme but not the politics at RSAB.
