Richard Chown
Good result for Truro. I see Barry "Ox in the Box" Hayles scored the opener again. That experience is paying dividends for Truro this season.
somersetspur
All Truro can do is keep picking up the points, and hope Salisbury falter in their chase. Salisbury could well have a fixture pile-up. They are still in the F.A.Trophy and are already 3 games behind Truro. Rather have the points on the board. If they dont make it and finish 2nd,all their play-off games will be at home. So plenty to play for. Keep it going Truro. Promotion is a real possibility. Comfortable win for City, especially once Barry Hayle's headed home the first goal. Great header into top corner of Tiverton net. The second was also a header - from skipper Marcus Martin. Two nil at the break. Jake Ash came on for Steve Adams, alongwith Scott Walker for Andy Watkins at the start of the second half. Martin's second of the afternoon, nicely finishing off a Walker left wing cross, wrapped up three well deserved points. However, must also mention two good saves from Martin Rice, who up until midway through the second half hadn't had too much to do. Firstly a well timed block from a one against one with Nardiello, and then preventing sub Bushin from scoring as the keeper punched away the striker's powerfully hit shot. Attendance 639 MoM - Marcus Martin
