Pendeen deserved to win , could have been more . Hayle has played both promoted teams now and both have earned the right to be in combo , hopefully Patch and the players can sort out the team for Saturday's trip to St Agnes  , it's a shame with all the improvement going on at the club  that the team has lost three away fixtures  , still a long season ahead .

West Cornwall 1-1 St Day

Really tough, competitive game. We weren't at our best with the ball, maybe tried to force it a little in the final third. Far better defensively, same for both sides. Limited chances for both sides, although we probably had the better of the ones that came. Both keepers making some great stops when called upon. Saints took the lead with about 20 minutes remaining, good ball in from Jacob Cleverly, who was superb all night for them, found their substitute forward, who didn't seem to know much about it, think it hit his elbow or hip, maybe his back, but whatever it hit, the ball found its way into the bottom corner. We had to throw caution to the wind and throw bodies forward, and with virtually the last kick of the game Puggy finally found a way past the young Saints keeper. Would have felt harsh had we lost, draw was about right I think. Well reffed by Nigel Nicholls as always. Return fixture in a few weeks time I believe.
