hoppit Posted September 16, 2014 Report Share Posted September 16, 2014 A game of two halves at Trefrew with Parkway racing in to a 3 0 lead inside 20 minutes and playing some lovely football. Looked as if it was going to be a long night for the Camels, but how things changed in the second half, rarely if ever, have I seen a team capitulate as Parkway did, resorting to long balls banged up to the forwards with little effect. Having said that, Camels played with more pace and venom with Parkway struggling to deal with it, got back to 3 2 and could have equalised. Parkway should be grateful to their keeper who made several good saves in front of a very shaky defence, who will concede plenty against the better sides if they continue to play as they did tonight. A reply I would have expected after listening to the arrogance of the away fans last night, no respect for anyone except the people in their own little world , 3 points it maybe but one things for sure both teams will win the same this season, nothing, It was a bit like watching Man Utd playing Exeter, one team paying god knows how much against another thats on a tight budget.What should be analysed is why teams at this level are prepared to pay players good money to win £2500 . Were you standing near the bloke that was slagging your team off most of the night ? Or were you him. The one in a Man City shirt. As for arrogance , I say it how it is. If we are poor , I accept it. hoppit Posted September 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted September 17, 2014 No not me, I'm a quiet person, just a different culture I think, you support a team that are expected to win,I support a team that are just happy to be in the league with the likes of Parkway but love the win when it comes along. Gives a different outlook of the same game I guess. As for the arrogant bit their was a couple of old guys making nasty comments when Parkway were winning 3 0 and it looked like being 10, no hard feelings just a bit galling when yer teams getting mullered. You might call it frustration if you like as Camelford were fighting their way back, but his bad mouthing aimed a lot at the referee and linesman was totally unacceptable and how he didn't walk is a mystery! Apparently the constant shouting of orders and abuse from the leaders to the players is getting out of hand. This is happening all the way through the game.
