cornishteddyboy
With Truro 1st team looking like they will be promoted to the Gassy League Top Division then their reserve team, if I am correct, can be promoted to the SWPL Premier as there will be this 3 levels difference. So next season will the club "Splash the Cash" and pour money into their reserves to get them promoted to the SWPL Premier by buying in better quality players? Their will be such a difference in skills level between a team in Gassy Top Div and SWPL Div 1 West that soon it will become almost impossible for someone to progress from their reserves to 1st team. If their reserves are promoted to SWPL Premier there won't be so much a step up. Otherwise the club will need 2 separate squads.
Mike Odgers
I read somewhere that an F.A ruling says no reserve clubs can operate above level 7 -which is where Truro Res.are now. There are some original reserve clubs above this level but dont see any new clubs. All the big non League clubs dont appear to have reserve sides but are more inclined to play in high standard midweek youth matches.
Jasa
No. It's simple really. If they were going to they would have done it this season, as they have always had the ambition to get promoted to the Southern Premier. Maybe we should, then you can have all of our squad player rejects on too much money down with you instead. :clapper:
MOUNTAINEER
With cornishteddyboy worrying so much about Truro City let's hope the tension doesn't get too much for him, it would be terrible if depression set in because he has failed to upset anyone and he used the recognised Teddy Boy weapon on himself. CTB starts more Truro City threads than City's own supporters. it really is sad.
cornishteddyboy
I like to keep the forum moving. Truro's forum is like watching paint dry, nothing useful is said. :P
Jasa
Ah well, we have our own forum to use. I personally don't mind this one as it gives you lot an excuse to read how well we're doing, even though none of your teams are in the Southern League but you still come on this section. If you're looking for good or bad news, you're still here!! :c:
