Mike Odgers
Having played at Tiverton in the previous round Truro have been rewarded with a Home 2nd.Rd. tie v Bridgwater Town on Tues.25th.Nov Looking at the draw it is an obvious Fix as all clubs appear to play their nearest team. My prediction is that the winners will play Mangotsfield or Yate Dont ever accuse the CCFA of any rigged Senior Cup draw after that !
somersetspur
You may have a point. Still a good draw for Truro.
baldy
As JETHRO would have said .... Trouble over Bridgewater
Graham Martin
I don't think the League hide the fact that the early rounds of the Cup are 'regionalised' - and with most of the matches being mid-week fixtures then I think it is probably a good and sensible option. Mike Odgers
As JETHRO would have said .... Trouble over Bridgewater Yes I saw Jethro at Taunton a few months back He was quite off after writing this beautiful song about Bridgwater and then some Garfunkel pinched it off him. Most Southern League clubs don't take this competition too seriously and play their fringe players-as did Tiverton and Truro. There were some high scores and some very low gates with 12 out of the 25 ties in double figures only. the lowest being 37,38,39,46,54 etc.
