Pablo
The Non League Paper today says the attendance at the final between Truro and Totton was in fact 36,232, not the originalfigure of 27,754. A fault in the turnstiles is blamed for the incorrect figure. That's a hell of an increase.
Guest mr truro
Should be a nice share out of monies for AFC Totton and Truro City

Dave Deacon
thats what usually happens in a football match. But, we're not talking about things on the pitch! In any case, I see on the Truro City unofficial forum that despite this finding, there's no more money to share out anyway!!! :D
Pablo
That's strange, I figured each club would be recieving a substantial extra cough-up after the admission. Roughly ten thousand more fans than previously stated is what. thirty five percent-ish? (After deductions) -a lot of extra dosh going two ways. Think I paid £16 for my ticket. We all know how T fc have a penchant for attendences and figures generally.
Dave Deacon
They presumably shared out the gate receipts accordingly from the total monies received. They wouldn't have had anymore to be distributed, irrespective of any mistake in actual attendance numbers.
Mike Odgers
The prize money for winning the Vase was £20.000. (dont be greedy Mr.Truro) All gate receipts for the F. A. to cover cost of hiring Wembley etc. Bearing in mind the record Vase attendance was swelled by the early chance of football followers to visit the New Stadium at probably the lowest ever admission price for a Wembley event.
