Kernowman
Well. It's what you've all been waiting for - The final League Table and no doubt you are wondering who has won. After all the final games, SOCCER FOLLOWER still out in front and is champion (again?) DAN BLAZEY had a great finale with 11 from 14, which moved him back up to 4th. COMMON TATER dropped 2 league positions. TMS NO9 was the runner-up in his first season in this prediction league! Thanks for everyone who joined in this season, and I hope for perhaps more players next season. Before the start of the next season, I will put down the rules that will apply so that everyone knows before the league starts. If anyone has any suggestions for next season, please send me a message. So until 2008/09, Good luck everyone. John The Baptist
After topping the league for a good few months i'm a little dissappointed to finish in third place. But seeing its my first season at this prediction lark, i mustn't moan really. Guess thats the competative streak all us footballers have in us. Looking forward to next season. Paul
How can someone who only predicted 67 games come second!! I no he joined late but come on. If that rule dosnt change then all you need do is predict the top teams, for example Bodmin to win each week and you have one excellent percentage!! It should go on how many you got correct over a whole season. The ones who did it all season should stand up and take a bow. Sorry I dropped off in the last 6 weeks. Ive just moved house so ive had no internet. Well done Kernowman and Dan. Have a good summer.......August is only round the corner!!
John The Baptist
Kernowman - maybe a ruling next season about the % of games predicted on, per games played in the season, to qualify for a place on the leaderboard.
Soccer Follower
A big thank you to Dan and Kernowman for running the prediction league each week. It's been great fun. Looking forward to next season already and trying to retain my title for a third season.
Kernowman
Speaking for myself, thank you all for taking part and from my part, thank you for your kind words - I'm sure I speak for Dan too. I do take on board with what Paul says and the ruling on this will change to something more fairer. I hope people are 'happy' with the yellow and Red card penalties? JTB makes a valid point too, so season 2008-09 will see the 'NEW' Prediction league, with a better, fairer set of rules which I will post before the league starts, and hopefully, agreed by the majority of you. Have a great Summer guys! :drink:
Common Tater
No moans from me. I'm adding my thanks to the organisers and am already looking forward to the new season. I hope I'm in Cornwall a bit more next season and can see more games. Have a good summer, everyone!

DanBlazey
Many thanks Kernowman for your hard work - I know how time consuming it gets! I think I deserve some kind of prize for predicting every single league and league cup game this season! I'm working in Devon in July and August, so see some of you for pre-season and early Peninsula league fixtures. Enjoy the sun!
Kernowman
I think the nearest to a 'cup' we can give is: That certainly was a feat - getting all the matches in See you in the close season Dan - and 'thank you too' for all your hard work. (Mike Odgers) - I will be back in Falmouth early August
