Great coverage that Jeff.

Serious question. How is the number 10 allowed to play with socks around his ankles and exposed shins ?

I thought that was banned some time ago

Our media man young Will Hedgecock produces fantastic videos of our games Brian. He captures all the key moments and also captures the atmosphere of matchdays at

Bickland Park. He's also a lovely young man.

Our number 10 Oscar Massey does wear shin pads but they are quite small. Lots of players wear these type of shin pads i believe.

From a player's equipment point of view shin guards must be worn, and and made of suitable material to provide reasonable protection.

The responsibility of the size and how much protection is a matter for the individual player and their clubs.

The following amendment to law is planned for this season but only moves the description of shinguards from the glossary of footballing terms to within the law itself.Screenshot_20240502-222559.thumb.png.8782c7fa92d97495119c0f560c9ff672.png
