Falmouth united 4 v 1 Illogan Res

The lads got a massive boost on the day when striker Hayden Webber got back from Southampton in time for kick off. The boys broke a bad tradition in our games and really started with a high tempo no slow build up the lads moved the ball with purpose and created a number of chances early on. Illogan also had a number of chances which they would should of converted but the back line were compact all game and composed in position. Hayden opened the scoring after going 1 v 1 with the keeper and from my angle it look like he moved out the way for hayden to tap in. His second came shortly after with fine finish. Illogan got a goal back just before half time with one of the best goals I've ever seen. We tried clearing our lines and the midfielder hit a rocket on the volley from we'll out of the box. 
A positive chat at half time as no one put a foot wrong they didn't look like scoring up until the
Worldie. Second half Illogan changed from playing good football to just physicality and after a few injury worries the lads just kept the ball away from Illogan and benji scoring to give us the 2 goal cushion again our 4 was from young Callum J who has done all the hard work in the last few weeks with no reward so really deserved a goal. 

The lads bounced back after the defeat a few weeks ago. 

Another tough game coming up this week at home to Mawnan 2nds.
