Glorious day In St Agnes and the Aggie team again faced an experienced side in Falmouth. Both sides playing some good football, all the early attacks from Falmouth were started by the evergreen Andy Miles who looks in terrific shape for his age! 👏. But it was Aggie who took the lead another experienced head in Dan o’toole sliding liam Paddock in who made no mistake 1-0. Then a penalty was given away by the Falmouth keeper and the Aggie player Curtis  calmly slotted to make it 2-0. Second half was fairly even,Falmouth probably just edging the attacks. Falmouth made it 2-1 and this led to a bit of an onslaught for the Aggie defence but it held strong with Logan Capeling and reuben chant (16) both having excellent games. The keeper also deserves a mention as he was epic today. Aggie finally ending the game as 2-1 winners. Good football played by both sides, Miles and Connor Mcarthy standing out for Falmouth.

No sour grapes St Agnes deserved their win started better and once in front defended really well. As you say for St Agnes some great last ditch blocks and couple good saves from the keeper

The penalty that was given was a baffling/shocking decision the Fal keeper clearly got to the ball first and kicked the ball straight out to touch then the st Agnes winger arrived a split second later couldn’t stop and collided with the keeper who stayed on his feet. The Aggie winger involved was laughing and joking that it was never a penalty in the second half.

But as I said take nothing away from St Agnes a very good performance and deserved 3 points.

Sorry penalty decision was spot on , I had a clear view and the Agnes attacker was given a two handed

push. Also I was not the ref.

I was not at the game but with VEO filming at most game it won’t be long till grassroots football will have refs going to the VEO monitor to check for decisions 🤣

it will be interesting for the incident to be posted on here as VEO was filming at the ground 🤔🙈🤷‍♂️

Cornwall football forum could then be like a local match of the day with goals and analysis of big decisions posted. I for one would sooner see those video clips on here 👍
