New Inn Titans 5 Chacewater 1.

Awful conditions all week not many expected any game but it was on, both sides looked short in numbers. Titans were lucky early as Chacewater winger Kevin Mitchell with a long range thunderbolt hit the under side of bar and stayed out, this shook the titans awake as the returning connor Arthur started getting the ball along with nico penfold and Ryan baber, some lovely triangles to open up Chacewater and threading balls in behind and into Jones feet, chances were coming and going for Jones, Arthur and rolandos.

Breakthrough came from jareth Barrington-Smiths ball into the box with Robbie penfold coming round the back. 1-0 Titans

It was soon 2 as nico penfold got into the box to set up returning rolandos to find the bottom corner

Matt Woodward and Ralph pascoe were marshaling it well at the back with the player manager getting some minutes at full back

Another ball in from jareth Barrington-Smith johnny Jones needed 2 bites at the cherry to tuck away the 3rd

The game was controlled by the titans 3 in the middle not allowing Chacewater any chance to get a foothold in this one. 3-0 half time

Titans found it pretty difficult to get going again in the second half with the contest over some nice phases of play and a big number of squandered chances this could've been 9-1 without dishing out any disrespect to Chacewater, however as football is at times the titans had gotten a little sloppy and allowed Chacewater in behind and Chacewater number 8 had flashed 1 in at keeper Ian Charfields near stick who had a solid debut making some good stops and overall distribution being decent to in the keepers defence to the strike had deflected off matt Woodward on its way through deceiving the unlucky keeper 3-1

4 did come eventually a corner whipped in was initially dealt with by Chacewater but Ryan Baber kept it alive for the titans and put the ball back into the mixer for nico penfold to rise highest and stick away the header

The 5th and final goal came from a well work set piece Robbie penfold and kaylum philp had worked it well between them and Robbie penfold picked out aidan webber at the front post for his flick on header to find the net. Man of match today Ryan baber though a mention for Ralph pascoe who had a very good game at the back today.
