Another season draws to an end

Well there goes another season , congratulations to those teams that have won , leagues , cups , promotions,  but let's not forget the volunteers,   our clubs unsung heroes  , the teams that have managed to survive,  to keep going , teams that might not win anything but keep grassroots football alive , well done to you all and thanks for everything you do to keep the beautiful game going. Well said SteveB we would all like to have successful seasons and great support like Falmouth Town.

Many clubs struggle to maintain stability and continue to have a steady squad. Yes these teams may lose heavily on occasions but it takes a certain person to keep coming back and providing football for their community.

They then have to have a willing band of as you say volunteers that go under the radar but are the lifeblood of the club. These clubs are the foundation of local football because without them there would be no winners.

All I ask is that if clubs do beat teams by big scores please win graciously and respect them.
