Did not get there until 30 minutes in and by then playing with the strong wind towards the road Helston  we’re 3 nil up. Redruth had the ball in the net twice but both were deemed off side.

Second half started a bit flat from both teams cancelling each other out. Redruth made a couple of subs and Dan Horner scored a good goal to get our tails up. Then Kev Knowles awarded a penalty for handball which was dispatched by Dan Bowman right at the end of the game the ball flew across goal to the far post where young Anthony struck a great shot back across goal but just over the bar.

As usual Kev Knowles had a good game in the middle and I must say both teams had a 16 year old goalkeeper who played well, in fact there where about half a dozen very young players who did both clubs proud. 
 

My only complaint today was the wind as I feel both teams tried to play football the right way.
