Peter George Memorial Match in aid of MND

How many remember Dean Mooney playing for Hayle and then being player/manager for Penzance. The chant from the touchline Deano, Deano brings back fond memories.

Unfortunately at only fifty years old, Dean is suffering with MND causing him great problems. It starts off with you not been able to do things like doing up buttons, tie laces and gets progressively worse until you can't walk, hold a spoon, etc.

This Friday, at Penlee Park we are holding the Peter George Memorial Match. For many years, Peter was our President until passing away. 

Peter's son Nick is managing one side and Dean the other.

Kick off is at 7.30pm.

ALL money raised will go to Dean's MND Challenge. 

So far Dean ran his age in kilometres over seven days and raised £7,000. 

With your support we could raise that to £10,000.

Gutted I can’t make this, Pete and Deano two top blokes and a great charity and cause. Gonna be some brilliant old ex players at Penlee Park on Friday night!!  Hope there’s a good crowd to show your support and see some popular old faces! Should see some decent football too I reckon!
