Ian Pethick
Back in the 90's and 2000's player managers used to be quite a common thing within the South Western/Peninsula and Western Leagues, but they now appear to be a rarity at this level. Anybody have any thoughts on why they have seemingly gone out of fashion? Would have thought that they would be a win/win for clubs with smaller budgets (one less player to pay for).
