Tavy got back to winning ways, but a young looking Liskeard side put up a good showing in a game where 2 injury time goals for Tavy decided the outcome. Tavy took an early lead but Liskeard deservedly equalized to take the game all square at half time. If it hadn't of been for a superb double save by the Tavy keeper then Liskeard would've gone in with the lead. Tavy then took the lead about 10 minutes into the 2nd half, but Liskeard didn't give up, which led to both sides playing some good football with chances coming at either end, Liskeard had a golden opportunity to equalize but somehow managed to miss from 4 yards when it looked easier to score. the decisive moment came when Liskeard pushing for equalizer got caught on the counter attack & the tavy striker hammered home from the edge of the box. Then straight from the kick off Tavy went & made it 4. If Liskeard can keep their youngsters then their future is looking bright.

So what went on at Callington ?

A racial assault on a callington player?

Manager ended up punching him in the face twice which included a uppercut. All over a late tackle down the wing. Which callington player got booked for.

St Dom also had a player sent off as well in about the 78th min.

Such a shame for poor Ken who has put his heart and sole into st dom for so many years,

Fair summary of the game.

I feel sorry for Ken a man in his 80s who does so much for st Dom here he was told before the game that the managers are leaving after there last game of the season so he will have to work hard to get a new management team and a new team as none of the players will stay such a shame as st Dom always a lovely welcoming place

Sounds like his career is over.  I doubt if he well ever be involved in football again.   I also feel very sorry for Ken a true gentleman,.  The man has devoted his life to football and to be treated like that is shameful.   Like he said in all the years he has been involved in football he has never seen anything like it.
